New York, NYUnbelievable dinner at this brand new farm-to-table spot in HK/Clinton. The space is cozy and lovingly crafted with reclaimed wood and a huge wood oven in the kitchen. The staff is professional and friendly, service was great.
The cocktails are appealing and the ones we tried were wonderful. I had the Sage Advice, which was refreshing. The wine and liquor list is different and fun - all local. The Gruner was lovely with our meal.
The food was fantastic and all super fresh - we had the chicken liver pate which was very nice and rich. We also had the Brussels sprouts salad which was amazing. I would go back just to eat that again: some fresh and raw, some roasted, all perfectly dressed. We shared the chicken for two with the bread salad; the bread was cooked under the chicken, and it absorbed the perfect amount of flavor and fat. Amazing. The chicken was moist and delicious. And a huge portion! I also tasted the lamb (succulent and falling off the bone) and the T-bone (juicy and oven flavored goodness, served with super tasty duck fat chips). And don't skip dessert - the sundae with bourbon cherries and hot fudge was worth the splurge!
Will return many times to try everything on the changing seasonal menu!! -

Mineola, NYI went here last night with 4 friends and we all LOVED it! Everything that we ordered was prepared with fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, and was delicious! It really felt like a farm to table experience. They had local food and drinks, the atmosphere was cozy with great decor. The service was amazing, they were always there to refill water glasses and ask how things are going. Make sure to order the desserts, they were to die for!!!! Definitely going back soon! -

New York, NYReally enjoyed my dinner at this cool new HK spot! Very nice atmosphere. They did a an amazing job decorating this place. Absolutely delicious homemade bread and butter. The wood oven gives a really unique flavor to the food. This was definitely among the best burgers I've had in awhile. Great quality meat (much of the menu appears to be locally sourced), homemade bun, unique woody flavor from the oven. Delish. Definitely want to try the chicken or the duck next time I come. The people next to me ordered dessert and it looked amazing but I was in a rush. Also, the staff was so attentive and lovely.
Great addition to the neighborhood and they're open till 4AM! -

New York, NYAmazing food, great atmosphere...I will absolutely be coming back! Started the meal off with the roasted cauliflower soup. Was perfect for a fall night and just the right consistency. I had the braised lamb shank for my main entree and it literally fell off of the bone. Every bite was better than the last. All local seasonal ingredients used which truly makes a difference in taste and quality. Be sure to ask about the local wine and spirits they have. -

Manhattan, NYI debated whether or not to write a review of The Marshal because I had such a great experience there and I selfishly don't want it to become so popular that I can't get a table, but alas here I am writing my very first yelp review. I had an unbelievably tasty meal at The Marshal - from the delicious chicken to the flavorful bread salad to the amazing corn on the cob with butter and cheese. Next time I'm going to make sure I leave room for dessert because that, too, looks incredible. Also, the people who run and work at the restaurant could not be nicer. -

Brooklyn, NYThis warm and cozy restaurant on the western edge of Hell's Kitchen is such a welcome addition to the neighborhood's stale restaurant scene. The staff is adorable and friendly and ready to serve, never overbearing but always there when you need them. The food is the best application of farm to table on this side of the East River .... a thoughtfully curated charcuterie and cheese board, crisp creative salads - the moist and meaty bone-in chicken was perfect, with remarkable flavor paired with a simple shaved and lightly seasoned kale salad. The ingredients are locally sourced and you can taste the quality in every dish. You need to go with a small group of hungry people and get ready to share plates. There's almost nothing on the menu you won't want to order. If there is a wait (and I predict there will be as soon as the neighborhood catches on to this gem), the bartender has a drink for you. This restaurant is a game changer in the pre-theater dinner scene of Hell's Kitchen.
