Dead of Night in City That Never Sleeps...Strange

View from I guess the Empire State Building ( from the net)...it is  4:30 a.m. and I am up in the middle of the night and the only thing that is really different is how quiet it is at this hour..

Outside, down the streets from here there are all kinds of places open 24 hours a day if not 24/7...even a gym which says it is open 24 hours. Well, I suppose there are people who for some reason would want to work out at 3 a.m....Midtown is the place for them.

I can remember way back when very few places were open 24 hours. Remember particularly two--the Brasserie Restaurant in the Seagram's Building ( handy thing to remember if for some reason you were with people who wanted to eat at 3 a.m. at a real restaurant) and this one--only one-- 24 hour pharmacy, where was it, Lexington Avenue I think near Grand Central. I actually used it once but I cannot remember why now.

At the moment I don't know of any pharmacies that are open at 3  a.m. now-- would have to google that...could be one or two.

Well, back to meditating and getting some more sleep from what is left of the night...
