Smoke fills Manhattan high-rise as FDNY responds to fire
HELL’S KITCHEN, Manhattan — Smoke filled a Manhattan high-rise early Thursday morning as FDNY responded to a second-alarm blaze, officials said.
The fire was located at 610 West 42nd St. in Hell’s Kitchen, FDNY said at 7:18 a.m., adding that local residents were concerned because of the amount of smoke.
No injuries were reported, and AIR11 footage at 7:50 a.m. showed no flames coming from the building.
About a dozen fire trucks were spotted at the scene.
