CREWS RESPOND TO MULTI-ALARM CHICAGO FIRE

An extra alarm fire was reported in Chicago's West Humboldt Park neighborhood Tuesday morning in what may be a flea market building with people trapped inside, according to the Chicago Fire Department. The fire started in the 4500 block of West Haddon Avenue. The one-story building where the fire sparked takes up two city blocks, officials said.
At least one person was rescued from a massive fire raging in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago.
The fire started in the 4500 block of West Haddon Avenue, where fire officials said there were reports of people trapped in the northwest side of the building, a flea market.
According to a security guard at the building, five people were inside at the time the fire started. The building's roof deck began collapsing during the fire.
