    Wednesday, February 10, FDNY celebrated Black History month at FDNY Headquarters in Brooklyn. The program was organized by the African Heritage Society for the 22nd consecutive year. The program featured musical performances and a guest speaker.

    The state Health Department informed the Fire Department that TransCare, a private ambulance company that participates in the 911 EMS system in New York City through contractual agreements with several private hospitals, has filed for bankruptcy.
