CPIB sets up new Corruption Reporting Centre at Whitley Neighbourhood Police Post

The new CPIB Corruption Reporting Centre is centrally located and near the Stevens MRT station (Downtown Line 2), making it more convenient for the public to walk-in and report suspected corrupt practices. It is expected to be operational in Dec 2016. 
The public can also continue to lodge a report using the following channels:
  • Walk-in to the CPIB headquarters at 2 Lengkok Bahru, Singapore 159047;
  • Call CPIB’s 24-hour hotline at 1800-376-0000;
  • Lodge an online complaint at www.cpib.gov.sg. 
The Government announced last year that a one-stop Corruption Reporting Centre would be set up to make it easier for members of the public to report cases of corruption. 
Woman sentenced to nine months' jail for slapping, kicking and punching maid 
Former customer relationship officer Nuraini Hassan (right), 32, was sentenced to nine months' jail on four counts of maid abuse. Two other similar charges were taken into consideration. 9 bus services to be diverted in Civic District and CBD for Car-Free Sunday on Feb 28

Australia says asylum baby will be returned to Nauru detention camp
The case of one-year-old Asha, the daughter of Nepalese asylum seekers who was brought to Brisbane suffering burns last month, prompted a standoff with doctors and a week of rallies outside the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital.

Rising obesity among young set to worsen diabetes rate in Singapore
Professor Chia Kee Seng, dean of the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, said 34 per cent of people aged 24 to 35 this year can expect to be diabetic by the time they are 65, based on projections.
