Remember to shovel off Fire Hydrants after a snow

An acquaintance of mine, Tiger Schmittendorf, was on the morning news talking about the importance of shoveling off fire hydrants after the snow. Here is some great behind the scenes footage he posted to Facebook showing a TV reporter shoveling a hydrant in full fire gear.
According to Tiger
I had a lot of fun with Matt Bove doing this tv interview this morning about a serious problem – hydrants buried in snow. If we can’t get water from the hydrant – we may not be able to get enough water to put your fire out, costing precious minutes and energy for us and anyone inside that fire.
Here’s some behind the scene video.
The struggle is real. Clear the snow from around the hydrant nearest your house and help your neighbors who can’t do it for themselves.
