It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Boogie, the firehouse cat from Engine 1 & Ladder 24. Boogie became a social media celebrity when an Instagram page was set up for him, of which he had over 18,000 followers. Another FDNY pet crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Last night Engine 1/Ladder 24 had to say good bye to Boogie, the Midtown fire cat.
