Smart Turn System senses correct time to cancel motorcycle turn signals
By transmitting misleading information to other road users​, forgetting to cancel a turn indicator can be potentially dangerous. Lithium-ion battery boost could come from "caging" silicon in graphene
A team at Stanford claims to have made a battery breakthrough that could boost the performance of lithium-ion batteries and also make them smaller and lighter. The researchers managed to remove two long-standing barriers to these improvements by putting silicon particles in graphene "cages."   read more

Researchers at Northwestern University have developed a hybrid polymer that combines soft and hard areas like bones and muscles in animals. DNA analysis may provide early warning of breast cancer
It could be possible to look for molecular alternations in breast tissue to identify whether a patient is at risk of developing breast cancer, a new study has found. Ultra Pod driverless shuttles to be trialed in London this summer
