We would like to invite you to the traditional conference of experts in the field of rescue services who are interested in wood and wooden based materials. It is going to be the 8th meeting which follows up with the traditional program and venue at the Partia Hotel in ŠtrbskéPleso. The tradition was established 28 years ago and since the very first meeting dating back to 1988 up to the last one in 2012 more than 600 participants have attended the conference. Delegates from all over the world mainly from Canada, the USA, New Zealand, Australia, and Japan have formed the integral part of the conference. The EU countries will not be mentioned as they predominate among visitors.
The aim of the conference is to present new knowledge from this multi-disciplined field. The topics from the various scientific fields are stated in an individual chapter of this invitation. The invitation provides some more detailed information about the upcoming conference and its program. The conference focuses on forest fires, fires in wooden building structures and new regulations, mainly Eurocodes – Eurocode 5 which applies to wooden constructions. I believe that your participation will contribute to a high level of the 8th Wood & Fire Safety Conference.

  you should send your final registration form, and payments are due, your entire presentation must be sent to us

Stand sponsor for the conference
 

Insurance companies, building companies, producers of rescue equipment and machines, producers of building wooden or other materials as well as other companies interested in the subject field are welcome to stand sponsor. The amount of sponsorship will be contracted with each sponsor individually. Interior and exterior areas of Patria Hotel will be placed at sponsor’s disposal free of charge as well as a presentation of their products during the conference and an advertisement in the proceedings and in other conference material.
