Last week crews from Tallaght, Dolphin's Barn & Tara St fought a well developed fire in the JFK industrial Estate, Bluebell, Dublin 12. The building was a vacant unit adjoining several local businesses. Thankfully no one was injured in the fire. Our turntable ladder from HQ acted as a water tower and we managed to prevent fire spread to other buildings.

Yesterday we took part in a Seveso exercise at the Joint Fuel Terminal in Dublin Port.
From time to time certain high-risk sites are required to carry out drills to practice their response in the event of an emergency. Dublin Fire Brigade, along with other emergency agencies would form part of that response.
Yesterday we simulated the joint response to an on-site fire.
