David Jones thats why I still prefer face to face training --- far easier to cull the bluffers from the real fireman, looking them straight in the face. Also when you ask them a hard question AKA call their bluff, they cant google it real quick.

Eric Yunginger The deceased was a 3 yr old boy who was inside the house when the fire started. Both parents were on the patio, and by the time they were aware of the fire they could not get inside to save the boy.

The FRV is a quad-cab pickup truck/brush patrol that functions as both a fire-suppression vehicle and first-response Advanced Life Support unit. One FRV is based in the North San Fernando Valley and the other serves the Central City/Pico-Union/Echo Park area during peak weekday hours to provide flexible fire and EMS response in some of the City’s busiest areas.
Pilot program will use fire/ALS rigs during peak hours in busy areas.

James D. Kay However this is LA City that is trying this concept. LA county to this day utilizes the squad concept with private services doing the transport allowing the paramedics to stay in-service on BLS transports.
