Brett Patterson, IAED Medical Council of Standards Chair, called the “hands-on-chest” Fast Track a “significant” addition to an EMD’s toolkit, intended for patients who are initially and obviously described as being in cardiac arrest in the Case Entry sequence.
“This is a moment for the EMS history books,” said Jeff Clawson, MD, inventor of the MPDS .

'Horror Film': EMS, Firefighters Describe Scene After 2005 Ind. Tornado: "We were driving down Lynn, people were walking out with tattered clothes, blood, crying, screaming, holding kids. ... I mean it was a scene out of a horror movie, and at that point, the blood does go cold," he said. "We could hardly get down the road because of all the cop cars." www.emsworld.com/12135589

Tom Bouthillet There's a fine line between hazing and felonious sexual penetration. What a horrendous thing to do to this young man. I'll bet most of us in the fire service have heard similar stories. It's just not appropriate. It never was. Good for him for speaking up. Think twice before you do stupid things.

Elizabeth Whitley When I worked at a private service I had a discharge to a rehabilitation center PT out of state. Had a couple of bags. Patient says hey get me a beer out about halfway through trip. I said nope he bitched and moaned. I put it in report. Gave bags to rehab center they signed for it and we had a good laugh later
