New York, NYA Dynamic Discussion and Piano Performance by World Renowned Musician and Psychiatrist Richard Kogan, MD
Harvard educated psychiatrist and Julliard trained concert pianist Dr. Richard Kogan will give a lecture/concert that explores the impact of psychological factors and psychiatric illness on the creative output of the great American composer George Gershwin (1898-1937). The discussion will be illuminated by performances of Gershwin masterpieces such as Rhapsody in Blue and Porgy and Bess.
