Senator Krueger's Roundtable for Boomers and Seniors, 2015-2016:
Senator Liz Krueger’s Roundtable for Boomers & Seniors is a 5-part program that provides an opportunity for constituents to come together to explore life issues that are relevant across the age span.
At each session, attendees hear from and engage with professionals who are knowledgeable on topics that are of concern to the growing population of older adults in New York City. Each year, over five monthly sessions, the roundtables look at specific issues from five unique perspectives.
This year's topic will be financial issues facing older adults, and the 1st session is on Retirement Planning and the Modern Economy. Presenters include Audrey Kwon, NYC AARP Graduate Intern, and Theresa Ghilarducci, Ph.D., labor economist and expert in retirement security at the New School.
The upcoming session will take place on Thursday, November 5th, from 8:30am to 10am, at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, 331 East 70th St.
