Control officer Pauline Warner braved chilly waters to complete the Macmillan Lido challenge earlier this month. Pauline completed the 2k swim in 12 degree water in 51 minutes, while her two friends former Brigade control officer Donna Oakwell and Louise Ward participated in the 2k relay, finishing in under an hour.
In preparation for the challenge Pauline and her friends trained in London Royal Docks with former British triathlete champion Rick Kiddle. Their combined fundraising efforts have raised a whopping £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support – well done ladies!
