Keith Garlinger Everyone is complaining about this appointment but I haven't seen one comment about what the Detroit police think. Did he do a good job with the cops? Just maybe the guy knows what he's doing and can only help the fire department.

Marcus Allan Crouch I have heard some counties require reflective address signs to get an occupancy permit. It makes a huge difference.

James Ghi Proper addressing is part of our Citizen SAFE (Smoke Alarm and Fire Education) program. Twice a month fire crews go door to door asking resident if they can check their smoke alarms, install new smoke alarms, etc. Each crew also has proper address numbers that can be installed on the home, mail box etc. the numbers are reflective. Check out www.stjfd.org for more information.
