Fire Alarm Dispatchers are a part of the most highly-trained Fire and emergency medical service in the world. They are on call to save lives - 24 hours a day, seven days a week as they  relocate companies as needed; adjust the number and/or type of units at fire scenes based on the condition and/or predetermined response assignment protocols; operate department radio and voice alarm systems to announce alarms.
Millions will depend on you. And you can depend on a competitive salary, up to three weeks’ vacation, career growth opportunities, choice of a wide variety of health plans, and the chance to retire in 25 years. When information about the next Fire Alarm dispatchers filing period becomes available, we will post it on our website. Applicants who filed for the Exam and do not receive an Admission Notice by January 17, 2014 must report to the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS), Exam Support Group at 1 Centre Street, 14th Floor, New York, NY  to obtain a duplicate notice. 


ATTENTION FIRE PROTECTION INSPECTORS:

Fire Protection Inspectors are a part of the most highly-trained Fire and emergency medical service in the world. They conduct inspections which are intended to reduce or eliminate fire hazards or assist in extinguishing fires.
Millions will depend on you. And you can depend on a competitive salary, up to more than three weeks' vacation, career growth opportunities, choice of a wide variety of health plans, and the chance to retire by 63 years of age with ten years of credited service. The most recent filing period for Fire Protection Inspector was held in March 2015. When information about the next filing period becomes available, we will post it on our website.
