The First Hudson Yards Tower Now Stands At Full Height

It is the first of many (and we mean many) height-related milestones at Hudson Yards: as of today's topping-out ceremony, Kohn Pedersen Fox's 52-story commercial building at 10 Hudson Yards will officially stand at its full height of 895 feet. The angular glass building will be home to major tenants like Coach, L'Oréal USA, software company SAP, and as of this week, social-media agency VaynerMedia. It will be ready for occupancy as soon as 2016.

When will you imbeciles figure out that topping out is not the same as the topmost point, the building still has a bit more to go.

@nycity30004: The stables for most horses (the Central Park horses and various other horse rides in the city) are a few blocks away from Hudson Yards.

@REspectator: yes, it has a 'ornamental' sloped triangular top, that will get built after the topping off ceremony (that was the focus of my little tirade above, that I was correctly informed was inappropriate ) just look at how high the crane is above the present construction, and you know there is still more to come..topping out usually doesn't include ornamentation

Not worried...just that if it still gets that crown, I wouldn't consider it topped off till that happens.
