AMIA prosecutors file request letter to US on Stiuso's whereabouts

The UFI investigation unit in charge of probing the 1994 attack against the AMIA Jewish community center in Buenos Aires, has filed a complaint before the Interpol Secretary General Office in Lyon, France, reporting the “lack of cooperation” by the headquarters in Washington in the search of former Argentine spy Antonio “Jaime” Stiuso, wanted here for the information he could provide on the deadly bombing.

The flight from reality

We have all manner of policy proposals from the Democratic and Republican presidential candidates, but there’s a sobering disconnect between what they’re advocating and the large problems the country actually faces. The candidates seem caught in a time warp. Democrats plug new entitlements (college subsidies, paid family leave). Republicans embrace tax cuts. All this is familiar; it’s also a flight from reality.
