John A McDonald keep in mind, however, that there are atheists, myself included, who are firefighters, and who serve with pride for no other reason than a fellow human being needs our help then and there, in a physical, tangible sense.
Brotherhood of Fire Yes John... so obviously this post isn't for you.

Tom Leggitt I had an Old Fire Chief, that told me one time, that ALL Fire Fighters and Police Officers perform ONE act of heroism. That one act was when you were a new recruit and you took the oath to do your duty. He said that ONE act was truly heroic, but from that moment on, there were no heroes, we were simply doing our duty.
Brotherhood of Fire Was his name Chief Edward F. Crocker - FDNY? wink emoticon
Patrick Payne ONE GREAT POEM. GOD BLESS OUR FIREFIGHTERS.
Just curious... why did you (do you want to) become a firefighter?

Nicolette Hughes You guys aren't even in that chart....Angelo is the "day late dollar short" because it's never on time or expired and he over spends on scooby snacks. You are the "if it doesn't cluck it's cooked" chef! I think that's self explanatory!
John Farmer I'd say #6 but Kerri Farmer would say #7

Just two days after a fire that claimed two firefighters' lives, the Kansas City Royals really stepped up to the plate...
Very touching moments
John and Larry remembered... and NEVER to be forgotten...
The Royals beat Houston, but many of the best parts of the night were not part of the game itself.
