35 year old Lansing firefighter Dennis Rodeman died today while collecting for MDA at an IAFF Fill-The-Boot collection site. Rodeman was a 7 year veteran of the department and a Marine veteran who served in Iraq. Rodeman was married and expecting their first child.

At 9h pm Saturday night a huge fire completely destroyed an auto shop in Toronto near the corner of Dixon Rd and the 401. The intense blaze was quickly upgraded to a 4 alarm fire and dozens of emergency vehicles scattered the scene.
