The Belgian sex therapist Goedele Liekens can look back on a successful start in the U.K. with the TV programme 'Sex in Class' on Channel Four. Liekens mainly got very positive comments for her no-nonsense and honest approach. However, is the Belgian ready for a busy career move at 52? "If I would have been 30, I would have moved to London straightaway."

08/08/15 - A fire in a waste wood handling company in the north of Bruges caused considerable nuisance in the Sint-Pieters district. A pile of wood pulp caught fire due the rotting of organic material. This created even more smoke than fire. People were asked to keep their doors and windows closed.

According to results of a customer survey carried out by brewer AB InBev, Belgian consumers rate the quality of the beer produced in our country higher than beer-drinkers in other big beer producing countries such as the UK, the United States and Brazil rate the beer brewed there.

Swiss Supreme Court rejects Sierre parents' appeal

The Swiss Supreme Court has ruled that the judicial investigation into the coach crash in Sierre should be closed. 28 people, 22 of whom children from two Flemish schools, died in the crash on 13 March 2012. They were on their way home from a skiing holiday when tragedy struck.
