  • Brent Newsom If the guy can answer assessment questions and says there is no problem, there is no patient. He is a homeless person laying on the ground, nothing more. Calling for EMS would be a waste of resources....he is not a patient. Apparently lots of people have never worked in a city that has homeless problem.

Throwback Thursday: The second major fire at Fenway Park, the first being in 1926 that destroyed a section of bleachers. The bleachers were repaired for free by a local shop in the area.

A fire captain said the Lt. advanced toward him aggressively and shouted, "You'll get what's coming to you, I'll make sure of it. I'm going to (expletive) you up."
The fire lieutenant got into a fight with a captain, who filed the incident report after the physical and verbal altercation.

Amanda Bernier was diagnosed with ALS last year, just two weeks after she found out she was pregnant; she's hoping Jimmy Fallon can help spread awareness about the serious disease.
"I went from running races, working full-time and being a firefighter to not being able to move and being on a ventilator in five months," Bernier said.
