2 FDNY EMTs seriously injured in ambulance collision

SUV and ambulance collided near end of Brooklyn Bridge; condition of civilian is unknown

NEW YORK — An ambulance was left on its side in a crash in downtown Brooklyn late Friday afternoon, leaving two emergency medical technicians and a civilian injured.
The accident happened at 5:25 p.m. at Tillary and Adams streets, near the end of the Brooklyn Bridge, officials said.
The FDNY ambulance was involved in a crash with a black sport-utility vehicle, and went on to flip onto its side, Joe Biermann reported from Chopper 2.
