He remained on scene for 10 to watch it burn as residents escaped; he did not aid those fleeing the fire.

The woman, eight months pregnant at the time, claims that volunteer firefighters convinced her to submit to a cervical exam and they used dirty gloves.
The firefighters pressured her to have a physical examination to determine if she was experiencing contractions, was dilated or was going into labor.

At one point, the firefighter had a handgun held to his head and was contemplating suicide.
No disciplinary action has been taken against him at this point, but that the matter is being investigated.

The firefighters' union is already paying it forward by making a $100 donation to a local food pantry.
They got called away to a fire — twice — as they were ready to check out at the supermarket.

  • Rob Dronitsky Nice...good people do exist.
The fire truck they donated was given to the city after Hurricane Katrina.
They gave the 1999 rig a new polish job and put some equipment on there as well.
