Rest in Peace, Retired FF Kenneth G. Pogan Sr. He started as a fire buff in Engine 18 circa 1956, where he became an auxiliary fireman in 1964. He also served in the 82nd airborne. Then he became a FDNY Fire Alarm Dispatcher until he was appointed to FDNY class 3 of 73 assigned Squad 3 until they disbanded in 1975. Then assigned to Engine 28 until he became an original member of Squad 1 on 12/3/77. He left Squad 1 in 1996 to become a Chiefs aide in the 22 Battalion then retired in 2006. Kenneth was a huge Firehouse, Fire apparatus and FDNY historian. Arrangements to follow.
