LONDON — Boyhood and The Theory of Eveything were among the big winners at the 2015 Baftas at London's Royal Opera House Sunday.
Boyhood picked up Best Film and The Theory of Everything won Outstanding British Film at the ceremony, which was presented by Stephen Fry.
Fry introduced "Tom f*cking Cruise" to the stage to present the Best Film award.
The Baftas, otherwise known as the British Academy Film Awards, are the annual awards ceremony from The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and are seen as a pretty decent barometer for the Oscars.
Eddie Redmayne won the award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything and Julianne Moore scooped Best Actress for her role in Still Alice.
Mr. Turner director Mike Leigh received the Bafta Fellowship award.
The Imitation Game, which features Benedict Cumberbatch as cryptographer Alan Turing, lost out completely. It was nominated in nine categories but didn't win any.
Cumberbatch barely made it to his seat on time, having to rush past the press and fans to get into the venue before the start.

The ceremony opened with a performance from Kasabian, whose guitarist Sergio Pizzorno wore his own take on 'black tie' attire.
David Beckham, Tom Hiddleston and Kristin Scott Thomas were among the presenters.
Cuba Gooding Jr also appeared, and shared an onstage kiss with Stephen Fry.
