John Jay College Will Host Mental Health Seminar

John J. College will be hosting The National Dialog on Mental Health Policy on February 27, 2015. We would like to invite you to participate in this FREE dialog. We feel this will be a fantastic opportunity for anyone to attend.

The following topics will be discussed.
  • How does mental health stigma affect our society, and how can we address it?
  • What obstacles exist to communicating about mental health, and how can we overcome them?
  • What strategies can we promote to ensure access to mental health resources?

Testimonial
I can't tell you how valuable the last dialogue even was.  I met lawyers, doctors, advocates, people with lived experience, correction officers, social workers, public policy students as well as folks from Fountain House, Community Access, the Mood Disorder Support Group and more.  Over 80 people with a vested interest in the mental well being of United States citizens attended and added their thoughts which were then given to the White House at the completion of the seminar.  It was fantastic and I hope you can be a part of this second dialogue.
