Mr. Abu Wa’el Dhiab was one of the six prisoners transferred from Guantánamo to Uruguay last December, following a deal between President José Mujica and US Barack Obama. He was also the only one of the six who had refused to speak to reporters until now, when he arrived in Buenos Aires “to fight” for the prisoners who remain in the US military base, according to reports from local community media.
