Manhattan *Bus Accident* Port Authority Bus Terminal - Squad 18 reports a bus driver had an apparent heart attack and hit another bus on the 2nd floor of the bus terminal. There are 5 minor injuries to occupants on the bus as a result of the accident. (Squad 18 got in 1st due because companies were doing the UCT shuffle from W 26 St & 8th Ave, then to 10th & W 40. Squad finally found it inside the Bus Terminal).

In the last 24 hours, FDNY EMS responded to over 5100 assignments. That is an average of over 200 calls an hour. FDNY received assistance from 30 mutual aid ambulances from New Jersey and Long Island at the peak of call volume (625 calls in an hour) after this morning`s ice storm.
