Yesterday, thousands of firefighters and police, including FDNY members gathered to say goodbye to former Chief Joseph "Junior" Sanford of the Inwood Fire Department. (Inwood, Long Island) He died in the line of duty after injuries sustained at a house fire on 12/19/14. 
FDNY members stood in freezing cold weather to give him one final heroes salute. A perfect example of what The Brotherhood is all about.
