A huge victory for our veterans and the Clay Hunt SAV Act appears closer than ever.
Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee Chairman Isakson said the Senate will take up IAVA's #1 policy priority for combating veteran suicide as early as next Monday.
This week, six Senators signed on to the bill, bringing the total number of sponsors to 40! However, we are NOT letting up. Our team is on Capitol Hill today meeting with Senate staff to make sure this bill goes through.
With 22 vets dying by suicide every day we simply can't sit in a holding pattern any longer!
