Two Sacremento Firefighters Rescued by RIC at 3 Alarm House Fire

Two firefighters were rushed to the hospital after becoming trapped in the basement of a burning home Monday morning. A third firefighter is being treated for smoke inhalation.Around 6:30 in the morning, neighbors called after seeing smoke coming from a home along 22nd Avenue, near Stockton Boulevard.
A witness told KCRA 3 that he saw one of the firefighters being dragged from the home in the 5200 block of 22nd Avenue. The fire ignited just after 6 a.m.Smoke was still billowing from the two-story home around 7 a.m. as crews battled the three-alarm fire.
