I spent 8 years on a private ambulance before getting hired on the fire dept.
I can relate to this photo! ... add some blood and vomit, a full suction bag etc.

It is with much sadness and regret to inform the Brotherhood that Battalion Chief Chris Tindall, 42 years young, a 19-year veteran with the South Metro Fire Department, MO was on duty January 8th, 2015 and was suffering from chest pains several hours after responding to an emergency incident.
He went to the hospital and was treated and released. Sadly Chief Tindall died following his discharge from the hospital.
