Now that you're settled into fall (and already added a few
big-deal events
to your to-do list), it's time to start REALLY bathing in fall's
pumpkin-spiced glory by re-busting out your digital calendar and adding
all of these 15 awesome things to do this October. Pro tip: it’s never
too early to plan out your excellent
Teen Wolf costume.

Every Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday, you can dine at the New York Botanical Garden at
this pop-up launched in collaboration with their “Kiku: The Art of the
Japanese Garden” exhibit, with dishes including the likes of dumplings,
noodles, and sushi.
Awesome restaurants and beer halls across the city
The Lower East Side
Filipino spot is celebrating its birthday with all-you-can-eat bites,
all-you-can-drink Yuengling and specialty cocktails, the Hip Hop
Magician, a clown, and DJs.
An excellent array of
local beers will be on hand as well as food vendors like Carpe Donut
and Hops & Hocks at this first-ever Brooklyn beer event.
Franny’s in Brooklyn
holds occasional dinners and tastings in its wine cellar, and this one
is themed around oysters from Forty North Oyster Farm and cocktails from
the book Brooklyn Spirits.
Taste six wines from
around the world aboard "Ollie the Trolley" as you are driven around NYC
to scope out some of our "popular vistas".
Aboard a trolley, all over the city
200 Front St at Fulton St
Dress like a zombie, drink, crawl, and... bowl?... at the after-party. Eating brains is optional, but recommended.
Dinner at Empellón Al Pastor
The next spot from
Alex Stupak of Empellón and Empellón Cocina is a more casual spot for
tacos (al pastor in particular, duh) and drinks, including a killer
selection of micheladas.
From "9pm - until you
can’t take any more", this kinky, leather-bound party is taking over
Goldbar. Consider this advanced-level partying.
This Halloween Ball
from Dances of Vice is going all out -- inspired by the Heaven and Hell
nightclubs of 1890s Paris, they're doing it up in a four-story Victorian
mansion that promises fencing ghosts, tap dancing demons, and erotic
blood baths.
That name is pretty much all you need to know.
