Coordinates FDNY photo database. What do you most like about working for the Department? The FDNY is like a family, especially in the Photo Unit. We all work together as a team. It’s a welcoming and nurturing environment. One thing people don’t realize is part of your job? Printing photos for the fire marshals. What did you do before joining the FDNY? I was in building management and real estate. I have a Bachelor’s in political science and history with a minor in African American history. I also have a certification from Cornell University in labor relations and an Associate’s degree in business administration from a community college. What do you do in your spare time? I serve on my community board, and in different political organizations and civic groups in my neighborhood. And I spend a lot of time with my brothers and their families. Three words to describe yourself. Friendly, positive and happy.
