It feels like Winter is never going to end, but we can’t stop
fantasizing about this Spring actually becoming Spring. So we asked some
of our hosts to introduce us to their favorite luminous springtime
songs to set the mood, whether or not the weather cooperates.

Jeff Spurgeon has been the guiding voice for a broadcast journalism
class in a high school in Queens and several New York City choirs,
hosting numerous concerts around the world and working as a radio host
and newscaster for over 30 years.

Naomi Lewin is the weekday afternoon host on WQXR,
and the host of WQXR’s weekly opera program Operavore, and weekly
podcast Conducting Business.

Marc joined WNYC in 2006 after working most of the previous three
decades in commercial radio, including at WQXR when it was still part of
The New York Times Company.

Terrance McKnight's varied musical experience, from glee club soloist
and accomplished pianist, to professor at Morehouse College, and
finally as producer and host of several music programs for public radio,
opens his listeners' minds and ears.

Amy Eddings is the local host of “All Things Considered,” which airs
from 4 PM until 8 PM weekdays. She started hosting in 2004, after
long-time host JoAnn Allen left for the West Coast. Before ATC, Amy was
a reporter. Her favorite topics were--and still are--garbage and
recycling, which she still reports on whenever she can get out of the
studio.
