A day in Canada's 'hipster capital'

We spent a day in Mile End, a Montreal neighbourhood where artists as diverse as Mordecai Richler and Arcade Fire forged their careers. Full of reminders of its working-class, industrial past, this socalled "hipster capital of Canada" reminds me of Brooklyn, N.Y.
