Sunday, March 16- Note About Blog This Evening

Hi- I am still suffering from a bad cold but recovering, ( whatever this virus was was a killer, believe me)..

However, three things about the blog tonight:

1) I have just have been watching the evening news and note how many tense or disastrous situations there are in the world-- someone today remarked to me that they felt they were reeling hearing all these reports just about the Malaysian flight that went missing, to say nothing of the events in the Crimea, Egypt, Venezuela and elsewhere

2) Rather than just repeat headline stories, I am going to be looking for other material because I feel I need a break from some of these ongoing stories and besides you don't need my blog to read about them, they are all over the media....from which I feel people are getting "sensory overload" anyway.

3)  I have noticed that a lot of sites I ordinarily look to get stories that interest me from have been running a lot of really irrelevant material lately and have been lacking stories of real merit. I see no reason why I should bother with these unless they have some really unusual twist to them.
