One friend of mine in the Middle West, seeing one of my Times Square pix and the big NYPD station there with its big sign, noted
"Only in New York would you see NYPD in big neon letters."
What is more interesting to me is all the people dressed up in costumes who will pose for photos with tourists (for a fee)
