What I have found is that Starbucks are often a great place just to meet people who are passing through NYC and don't have all that much time and you just want to touch base
In fact, I hope to meet a couple of people at one way uptown soon--friends who live coming from off in different directions and a central meeting place around East 96th Street would be cool..
