On a raw, windy November day you particularly realize as you get in between First and Second Avenues going towards Bellevue Hospital...especially through the area known as "Bellevue Park"--that you are suddenly in a rougher, creepier area than you were on Second Avenue..
People who passed me were talking...all kinds of curse words..
Came upon a group of young idlers "hanging out" in the middle of nowhere there....jeers and catcalls at me as I passed by
But this is not the really dangerous time to be here, it is still the middle of the day. After the sun goes down, though!!
When you finally make it over to First Avenue and Bellevue Hospital, things seem more normal again...
Fall foliage is still sort of pretty, though, and that's what I concentrated on in this video
