Unfortunately did not enjoy my visit here...

Accompanying one of my friends who was interested in some jacket suits and making our way around the store the looks were really disrespectful. Disrespectful because your making it so obvious. Employees stared at us for a good 13min before offering assistance and by that time we no longer needed it, we had found our way around to items. Then when we're comfortable enough pretend not to follow us... really?

I hate and try my best to stay away from racial profiling but I truly felt like "we" weren't good enough to shop here or we were doubted in some way. We did not enter as hoodlums or acted dangerous. After a while it look like they were comfortable enough to have us there, we still purchased because it was needed for a event but I won't be returning again. It just was not right. My friend said they would complain to a manager but honestly when you see all the employees react this way, I feel like managements views are not too far from it, why bother.

MY EXPERIENCE is enough for me to not return

You know how they say that you should never go food shopping when you are hungry? The tiny regulator in your brain that normally says, "nuh uh, you are NOT buying that!" is bound and gagged and the next thing you know, there are 8 flavors of potato chips sitting in your pantry.

Well, a similar kind of rule applies for men when shopping on Madison Ave., and it goes like this: Never go clothes shopping here if you are single and horny. The stores all know this, which is why they are usually staffed with hot salesgirls who can toss their hair back and laugh like it was their major in college.

Sadly, I have lots of stuff from Emporio Armani. It's not entirely my fault though- I'm usually dragged there by a friend (see my review of Quicksilver), but nevertheless, I often walk away with one of their tall and wide but really thin shopping bags.

As for quality, it's sandwiched between the crapfest that is Armani Exchange and the nice stuff at Collezioni. Emporio Armani is perfectly suited (ha!) to give young NYC professionals their first taste of decent Italian menswear.
