Jamaica, NYThe best underground shop in town. Great prices, great styles. New items every week it doesn't get better than that. -

Manhattan, NYI love, love, love Coup De Coer!!! Besides the fashion being wonderful all the time, and always being able to find something I want to wear for any occasion, even work, the Sales Associate at the UES location (East 91st and 3rd, west side of street) is the most amazing sylist. His name is Eduardo and not only is he a fashonista, he has become one of my dearest friends. I encourage all to visit his location and shop, shop, shop ti' you drop!!!
xoxoxo Eduardo!!! Mucho besiiiiiiiiiiiiiitos!!!

Richmond, VAI can't walk in here without leaving with a dress... or two. The dresses are trendy but very wearable and reasonably priced. If I need something cute and flirty for a special night I know I can drop in here and find something -

Chicago, ILI walk past this store everyday on my way to work but never thought to stop in because I thought since it was a boutique it would be too out of my price range! But alas, thankfully, no! The prices are reasonable for dresses from $50 - $90 and you can get a small discount sometimes (shhh). The lady who works there is also super nice and is almost like a personal shopper since she participates in the whole decision making process ("does this look too frumpy?" "does the color wash me out?") And you'll get an honest answer!
I walked outta here with 5 dresses after an hour of trying on dresses. It was so much fun! I feel a little guilty but I know these dresses will look absolutely fabulous on me and make me feel like a million bucks. They are also not off-of-the-rack type clothing from Forever 21 or H&M, each piece looks so unique and interesting and even though it might look small or weird or whatever on the rack once you try it on it'll be like magic and it'll fit. I swear, just give it a try. I've done shopping at Herald Square for an entire afternoon trying all these stores and come away with a dress that I needed to return anyway cause I come home and it looks worse than it does in the dressing room.
A hidden gem!!!! -

on the way home from a long day of shopping, i walked by here and decided to check it out. as me and my friend walked in, the two sales girls looked up at us, and then continued on with their on conversation without any sort of greeting. one girl was loudly talking about her dying grandfather and her family issues which made us feel pretty uncomfortable listening too. after hearing all about her problems, her grandfather's problems, and not being acknowledged at all for a solid 15 minutes, we just left.
it's cool to vent to your friends, but you don't do it when you're working, and especially not about things like that. customers don't want to hear about your personal life. it was unprofessional and rude.. plus the clothes were all pretty tacky - good prices (everything around $60 or less) but ugly prints or materials.. just cheap looking, like the crap from foxy lady or something. definitely won't be back. -

Chicago, ILEverything is under $100 in the store and its a great place for dresses and fun necklaces. The salespeople are young and they help you decide what looks good and what doesn't. I bought 3 dresses once for $125 total and they gave me a 10% discount (you have to kind of fish for it, but if you are "deciding" between two dresses, they'll give you the discount as an incentive to buy both). Just ask.
I almost feel bad doing this, but I have to share. The same brands that Coup carries, you can find at De Janiero for half the price. Not all brands, but definitely some. I've seen duplicates at both stores. Coup will sell a dress for $75 and De Janiero will sell the same one for $29. Often times this doesn't stop me from buying at Coup but if you're strapped for cash but want a pick-me-up, check De Janiero first :) -

Queens, NYCoup de Couer has reasonably priced but unique clothing and accessories. My only beef with them is that I have seen one of the brands there at Mystique Boutique and I'm sure Mystique charges even less. Otherwise, no real complaints about the store (I've been to a few locations, but this is the one closest to my apt) and I looooove my new turquoise skirt. One of these days I should pop by again and get a new spring/summer purse.Listed in: Midtown Manhattan: 14th…
