Columbus circle has always been one of the busiest hubs in the City, down at the Southwest Corner of Central Park...
All kinds of people mill about there, you can see them checking their maps and wondering where they will go next

Wow, is there a lot of different kinds of music/musicians in the subways in NY...
The guy in this video under Grand Central is just pretty noisy to me, but I guess some people appreciate it..
I had just heard someone almost as loud on the shuttle over from Times Square who I thought was pretty mediocre as one man bands go but he had a good group of admirers.
"Bet he makes a lot of money doing that," said one of them ( I sort of doubt that but you never know. It has never seemed to me that performing in the subway is that great a gig).

My favorite subway musicians so far has been one young woman violinist I head at Grand Central and , on another occasion, a South American guy there. I thought that was really music...those are the people I leave money for.
