Three words....Vanilla Chai latte. It's like dessert in a cup! Simply heaven in every sip. If this place was closer to my work I would go every day. They have a great selection of healthy foods. Ate lunch here a couple of times. Highly recommend this place.

What an utter delight. Great, carefully cooked vegetarian fare. They also have good sandwiches and great specials ie the half side salad which is huge and a sandwich. Have never been disappointed here. It's nice and clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. My mouth waters just thinking of their cauliflower.

Hopeless. Went back for a second day, just in case my first visit was a fluke. But no. These guys are hopeless. Coffee is ok. Food is so so (pastries at least). Customer service horrid.

So many reasons to love Delectica:

    1. their food is tasty (yet relatively healthy) and different
    2. excellent steel cut oatmeal
    3. really nice staff
    4. great sides - couscous, cauliflower, chopped salad
    5. airy and modern design (a bit bright for my slow self in the morning but it's nice)
    6. they grill their bagels, mmm

On the pricier end of deli/cafe food but it's definitely worth it. Good coffee too! Gotta try one of the Euro toasts soon.

Delectica is around the corner from my office, so it's on the lunch rotation. I pretty much always get the 1/2 sandwich + salad combo with LOTS of cauliflower and sweet potatoes (and maybe beets).

Really this review should be about the cauliflower because it's amazing. It's cauliflower that's been roasted until caramelly and soft and perfect. Then it's sprinkled with bread crumbs and drizzle with tahini. Trust me the whole is better than the sum of the parts. It's magical.

The other stuff is good, too. Sometimes the soups are meh, but the sandwiches are really good. But yeah. It's really about the cauliflower.

Skip this place. Low quality ingredients, bland food. Why two stars? Nice employees. For the first time, I'm questioning the validity of Yelp reviews.

Great place for some healthy food.  Fresh ingredients and tasty dishes make this cafe a nice stop off for breakfast or lunch.

Delectica was the sensible choice for breakfast on the first morning of our holiday considering it was situated on the same street as our hotel. We can safely say that we made a great choice!

Upon entering the cafe, we were not only greeted by extremely friendly staff, but also clean, modern decor. The selection of fresh pastries/muffins etc on display was vast and they tasted great too.

The second time we ate breakfast at Delectica my wife and I chose a hot platter - pancakes with bacon and eggs. The pancakes (3 of them each) were perfect, as too was the bacon. My scrambled eggs were good; my wife felt her fried eggs were a little too runny, but still fine. We were also more than happy with the price - under $15 for two lots of pancakes/bacon/egg and two coffees.

To sum up, Delectica was all we wanted from a NYC breakfast, and, if it hadn't have been closed on the Sunday that we left, we would have eaten there a third time. We will eat there again without hesitation on future holidays to NYC.

Love the food and so did my son which is a plus... Only con: I hate places with space to sit but no bathroom for patrons (we know how kids have to always use bathroom)... Pros: granola with fruit n yogurt and sandwich with aicafo and the one with goat cheese n balsamic dressing yum

Walking around the area during lunch break and enjoying this beautifully sunny spring like day I happened upon Delectica and decided to drop in for an iced coffee.

The space itself is bright, clean, and airy. Small seating area in the front with about ten tables. Specials of the day are listed on a chalk board on the sidewalk. There are some affordable breakfast and lunch deals that I would not mind trying out. Seems like a nice spot for a coffee, breakfast & lunch options, muffins, soups, bagels, sandwiches and then some!

Saw some nice looking pastries in the glass by the counter as I waited for my iced coffee. For only $2.25 it was fair and tasted really good - no complaints. Service was quick and friendly. Nice to have another option in the area other than Starbucks and deli/bodegas for a quick caffeine fix or late afternoon snack.

Open during the work week at 7AM and closes around 6PM.

This little gem is currently obscured by scaffolding but I hope it soon comes in full view of passers by because it's great. The feeling of the place is clean and expensive - white on white and lofted ceilings and stainless steel counters - I had the oven-baked Salmon with avocado, tomato, arugula, and spicy mayo on ciabatta and I was well satisfied after - full, happy, and a little lighter in my pocket ($8 felt steep at first but made sense after the quality and portion I received). I would get this sandwich again but would probably also try some of the salads.

I eat breakfast and lunch here all the time.  I would highly recommend this place as a good option for those looking for higher end food that is mostly healthy, and quickly prepared.  The customer service is great and all of the food is good.  I especially recommend the turkey chili.

Finally. A beet salad in the neighborhood that doesn't suck. I had that plus a tuna salad sandwich and everything was super fresh and light. My co-workers frequent his place, but it was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised.

Good sandwiches for lunch (haven't tried their salads yet). They just need to straighten out the ordering/paying process. When it gets busy, expect a long wait as the cooks can't keep up with rush-hour crowds.

Staying downtown, trying to find breakfast that wasn't at the hotel on Saturday morning, not an easy task. So glad we happened by this place.
I had the Mediterranean Breakfast and Hubby had the bagel with smoked salmon. Both were delicious.

Delicious! Their euro toasts are fantastic. Tried their proscuitto sandwich, which was pretty authentic. Carrot cake is to die for, rugalach that is massive and tasty, extremely fresh salmon baked salmon. I was glad I had the opportunity to try this place, it didn't disappoint even once. Too bad I never made it back for their breakfast menu, because it looks amazing.

Staff is VERY slow and rude.  there's never any real line system with the cash register which just makes it take forever.  they're also very unamenable - what you see is what you get, no minor adjustments, items on the side etc.  very stuck up bunch.
