Local Greenmarkets continue as Fall comes

Local weekend Farmer's Market stands at Kips Bay Plaza --small scale compared to most in NYC-- but fun to watch the same kind of picking over of food by fussy local shoppers that farmers have brought in from the countryside ( or pickles from New Jersey)

Last year, the market went all through the winter..I don't know where that produce came from originally...

I was thinking of going down to Union Square today-- the market scene there is very big and very diverse and has all sorts of arts and crafts and tourist stuff too...but the whole Union Square scene is something of a madhouse

Will get to it another time
