I have tried to run postings about healthy food places but--I don't know, why not see what the frivolous and not-so-healthy does for people...
These reviews are almost all pretty good but there are more reviews there ( enough is enough for these reviews, especially for a cookie place!)
Leave it said not everyone is thrilled with this place

Manhattan, NYCooking to die for...Prices that will kill your wallet.
Unsustainable price for a snack but an amazing treat. -

Manhattan, NYInsomnia cookie; a dream for stoners and cookie lovers alike. While their classic cookies satisfy that I-need-mommy-comfort-now craving, the same feeling can be achieved by running to the grocery store and throwing some dough in the oven. At a fraction of the cost. However, the deluxe cookies, are indeed deluxe. Worth the cost, worth the calories, especially when fresh.
So stoners, cookie lovers, or motherly-love-seekers, go for the deluxe. -

They are called COOKIES, that means you are supposed to COOK them. Bake them. Finish.
The absolute worse cookies I have ever had, but pretty good warm cookie dough. It makes sense that this crap was invented in a dorm room at UPenn.
At Harvard a freshman invents Facebook, at Penn someone warms up some cookie dough in his dorm for his stoner friends. See there is a big big difference in the Ivy League. -

Jersey, JerseyWarning: very addicting. Eat at your own risk.
My friend and I started off with 2 mint chocolate chip cookies. It was love at first bite. We left with 12 more. At one point it just gets too sweet that you'll need milk to down them. Luckily, Insomnia Cookies takes care of that for you. -

New York, NYEvil...just evil. How can I possibly avoid diabetes with these cookies down the street? Damn you chocolate chip peanut butter cup cookies, damn you to hell! -

Manhattan, NYWho the hell came up with the idea for this place? I demand to know because it's you I'm going to be angry with every single time my will power fades and I eat a cookie. My rule of thumb is to never keep sweets in my apartment. That way if a craving hits I can't go crazy on it. Throw in the fact that I'd most likely have to walk somewhere to get a sugar fix and my will power wins. Not with a freaking cookie place that delivers to my hood until 3am!!
Are they the best cookies in the city? Not by a long shot. However, sometimes you just can't beat a fresh out of the oven warm, gooey cookie. Especially when the craving hits at 10pm. You just go online pick your cookies and they are delivered to your door. There's even a cookie tracker on their site to see where they are.
Worst/best thing I've discovered this month. Now excuse me, I'm off to the gym to work off that S'more cookie I destroyed. You win this round inner fat chick. -

New York, NYI recently ordered a few different types of cookies for delivery. It took me right back to college in the best way. The cookies were delicious and fresh
even when delivered. -

Ooey gooey warm soft and chewy triple chocolate chunk cookie is so worth the $1.25 price tag and load of calories attacking my waistline.
After a long emotional day at NYU hospital and exhausted from being up since 4am Julia B noticed this small outpost of Insomnia Cookies with her cookie radar from across the street and made a quick attack upon it. She decided that I needed a cookie treat and she was so on-point.
Like almost all of these places it is as small as a phone booth, a little counter by the window, a fridge full of chug milk, and an amazing aroma of fresh baked amazingness. You can gain 5 pounds by just standing inside and breathing deeply. It is intoxicating and I think it is part of their evil plan to suck us all in and consume MOAR COOKIES!
Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chunk, White Chocolate Macadamia, Double Chocolate Chunk, Snickerdoodle, Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar, and Coconut Pecan are the delicious staples offered here at Insomia, as they are across all of this chain. Open really really late. Oh, they deliver too so you can score an extra fix when you get home and you're jonesing for some sweet cookie lovin'.
Oh, and that cookie Julia bought me was warm, soft, gooey, and wonderful. Just like her! -

The boyfriend found this little gem on the way to the gym of all places! The cookies are made fresh, come out hot and melty and they taste very delicious. 12 cookies for $12 otherwise they are $1.25 each. They pretty much push you into purchasing a dozen if you want to buy minimum 9 cookies.... You get your cookies in a mini pizza sized to-go box and they are piping hot.
The only thing I wish is that they have more cookie options and that all the cookies were the same price. They can range anywhere between $1.25 to $2.50 so if you want to get a $2.50 cookie they don't qualify as part of the dozen. BUMMER.
There's a small booth area to sit if you want to eat the cookies right away.
Overall, a good option in the area if you are craving cookies! -

Manhattan, NYAfter dinner, my friends and I were craving for something sweet. It was 10PM already so our options were limited. We went to Insomnia cookies and order a dozen with all the different kinds expect the sugar cookie. We got our freshly baked cookies in 5 mins. The insomnia cookies were so good we devoured most of them in about 5mins. The cookie was so soft and all the chocolate was melted in. yummy. My personal favorite is the white chocolate chip with macadamia nuts. -

Midtown East, Manhattan, NYShut the front door these cookies are amazing! This place should be five stars!
A nurse I work with literally just walked in the door and told me to try one of these. I am serious I am typing while indulging in this melt in your mouth chocolate chip world wonder!
I have never stepped into this establishment. I had no idea this place was within walking distance from my office. This is a dangerous discovery. I am already having withdraws from these cookies!
Someone please get me a glass of milk!
I will be going here for a complete review! BRAVO & ENCORE! -
Review from Colleen Y.
Manhattan, NYThe cookies at this location are very inconsistent!
It's really a gamble. Sometimes the cookies will taste fresh out of the oven, gooey, soft, buttery and sometimes I'll get a hard, nasty, old cookie.
Their M&M cookie is amazing!
Not a big fan of their double chocolate mint cookie. -

Manhattan, NYBest cookies in the world!!! Period. Exclamation mark (x3)
If a s'more cookie was a man, I would lock him in my room and throw the keys away. Just saying...
