Brooklyn, NYHundreds (thousands?) of totes, backpacks, suitcases and whatever here. Saw some around $25 while others were well over $500. All the best brands are here - Victorinox, Timbuk2, Halliburton, Tumi, Jansport, Kipling, Manhattan Portage, North Face, LeSportsac and many others. While almost everything is suggested list price, some items are on sale or clearance, so you may get lucky.
The big problem with the store is that everything is...unexciting. If you love black, khaki, and other basic colors, you will find this store to be paradise. If you want something that has a cute print or stripes or fun colors...not much of a selection. Saw some LeSportsac accessories with fun prints, but most were random.
Accessories range from key chains to fanny packs (?) to wallets to everything in between.
Service is fairly hands-off, although if you want help, it is cheerfully offered.
Great place to visit if you need a new backpack and want to blend in with the crowd.Listed in: More, More, More -

Tons of bags but kind of expensive. I'd also expect a bigger range of different backpacks, such as more for hiking or something. But you really can find any type of bag you're looking for and generally many different types.
Staff were not pushy, which I appreciate. -

In our country's history the number 13 is unlucky, evil, demonic, even. Be that as it may...,
I deem that number (13) to be a savior, my savior. In my hectic little life, I find myself in dire need of organization. And, I've finally found my angel, a slender messenger tote bag with 13 different compartments for me put all my crap. And, whenever I need to retrieve said crap, I always need it in a hurry. Swiftness is paramount. When I can't hold back that sneeze from Mt. Saint Nostril, I need a handkerchief asap. I can't wait to sift through a backpack, or a large messenger bag. Like an organized toolbox, this bag gets the job done!
Subdued brown hue, satin silver metal trimmings, devilishly contrasting red interiors, and adjustable strap so that it becomes bespoke for me!
13, is a pretty badass number if you ask me.
ps: I'm going back to pick one up in olive drab tomorrow. -

Brooklyn, NYThe service here was so good I felt kind of guilty leaving without buying something. There should be a tip jar.
There were three members of staff, and all of them were involved in helping me pick out a bag that fit my oddly shaped laptop. I didn't have to venture too deep into the deceptively cavernous store for my stuff, but it looks like you will be overwhelmed with options for almost any kind of bag your heart desires. I went through timbuk2, north face, and manhattan portage, and I know there were a lot more.
I found two bags that were almost perfect, and checked back online to see if there were other colors available. There aren't, and now I'll need to make a second trip for my bag. The prices are only about $5-$10 more than website prices and you'll pay that in shipping anyway. -

Brooklyn, NYI go to school and work in the area and rather than order a new bag online (which would have been less hassle, as it turns out) I thought I would support a local, brick and mortar business. HUGE mistake.
I bought a bag there on 9/20-- brought it home, took off the tags, and spent the next few mornings trying to convince myself to use it. Nothing fit in it properly, but I figured- no big deal...I'll go back in and exchange it. Life happens- a couple of weeks passed. Today is 10/12. I attempted to return the bag today with receipt in hand. The woman working at the counter could not have been ruder. After informing me that I was 2 weeks passed the insane 1 week exchange policy, I asked if an exception could be made-- she snarled and rolled her eyes. I said that it was likely the bag I would choose instead and I would probably wind up spending more money-- she again refused. Upon remarking that a policy like this seemed a little crazy to me, she replied "Um- I guess it's not so crazy if this store has been open for 40 years".
My guess? Not much longer with rude employees like her. I will definitely never shop there again.
